Hallmark 2005 Piano Playing Snowman Plush tabletop Christmas decoration with lights, sound and animation. Turn on the switch and hear your favorite Christmas Carols, “Let it Snow’, “Jingle Bells” and “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas”. The Christmas lights on the piano light up while he sings and sways back and forth. Unfortunately for Hallmark store owners its popularity came AFTER Christmas, many were sold in stores at 50 to 75% off retail value. For the following 3 years every Hallmark store overloaded on similar items, but nothing was ever as popular. This item can now be found on the secondary market for $75.00 or more.

In 2009 Hallmark is making a come back of that beloved plush in a Hallmark Ornament piano and all. This magic Hallmark ornament, Sing-Along Snowman, also battery operated, press the button to hear the snowman’s rendition of “Let it Snow”. Ornament is dated 2009, Battery-operated (included).
3” x 2 ¾” x 2 5/8” The only thing missing are the lights. In early September Hallmark had already announced this ornament is sold out and can not be reordered. Many people on the secondary market are wondering how far this one will go!

The Hallmark 2009 Keepsake Ornament Club Event n Kansas City was held in August. Every 2 years Hallmark has an event for its club members only and at that event they have limited edition ornaments for sale that can not be purchased in any stores. Many of Hallmarks artists are available to have your ornaments signed. On Friday night they had a dinner for all the guests to meet the artists and receive special gifts. A good time was had by all.
This years featured ornament is called The Ornament Express, it stand’s 8 inches tall. The base is 6” x 6 “and turns with a train going around in circles and plays Jingle Bells. The top of the ornament is a tree that holds the Frosty Friends set of 3 miniature ornaments and Snowflake Fun a set of 3 miniature ornaments. There are also plenty of hangers to add other miniatures if you desire, a total of 15. In 30 years Hallmark has never made a Frosty Friends Miniature.
They also had a Limited Edition of Father Christmas. Very pretty it looks similar to the 2006 Father Christmas with a coat of light blue with silver stars, this ornament was sold out at the event and very hard to get.
A complete set of 3 Lapel Pins, Frosty Friends, Father Christmas and Tuxedo. A well kept secret was a very limited Lapel Pin at Halls Department Store, very few people were aware of it; only 500 were made and my guess is they had many left over. It says “Goin’ to Kansas City and Making Memories” shaped like an ornament with the skyline of Kansas City in the background and Halls Department Store logo.
A colorway repainted version of 2008 Toyland Express and colorway repainted version of 2009 Hallmark Snow buddies series ornament was also sold out at the event and very hard to get.
They had many give always at the event that could not be purchased anywhere also. An unpainted version of the 2009 Cool decade ornament, an Angel of Peace tree topper that was in the Hallmark 2008 book but never sent to any stores and a repainted version of the #1 in series 2008 Candy Claus.
All of these ornaments are available on our website, please take a look. This year’s product was very difficult to get and sold out fast unlike other events, that alone makes them even rarer than past events.

What you should when buying Hallmark Ornaments on Ebay.
I have sold thousands of ornaments on eBay and have often wondered why people buy from me when there are so many listed on eBay. Well recently I decided to replenish some of my sold out stock and have myself purchased several ornaments on line. I must say I have been extremely disappointed!! Some of these sellers need to look up the definition of Mint and Near Mint condition and also disclose if the item is new or used. Mint condition is perfect with absolutely no flaws, near mint is questionable; if it’s near mint read description of what is wrong with box, does it have a crease, is the price tag attached does it have shelf wear? I also received an ornament today that was shipped in a cracker box! Needless to say it was crushed when I got it! The seller’s response was the Triscut box was in good shape when it left her house so she wasn’t responsible for how the Post Office handled it! If you don’t have a clear understanding of what you are looking at “ask the seller a question” before you purchase that item.
I once read an about ME page that the seller stated “we are not one of those Power Sellers”, well I feel safe purchasing an item on Ebay from a Power Seller, you can’t get and keep that status if you don’t continue to sell a great product at a great price with reasonable shipping charges!! Ebay monitors their power sellers every month when they get their invoices, if you are not consistently offering great service they will remove your status. Here’s a quote from Ebay help page. “To qualify for the PowerSeller program, sellers must consistently sell a significant volume of items, maintain a 98% positive Feedback rating and provide a high level of service to their buyers.” The higher the Power Seller status the higher their ratings and the safer you should feel about your purchase. We are power Sellers and you get the one-on-one customer satisfaction you deserve, just because we are Power Sellers doesn’t mean we have 50 people working for us, with the exception of Christmas and high volume times my husband and I handle every order that goes out the door, when you ask a question you will always get either him or I no matter what time of the year. We have several family members that will help us out with packaging during the holidays and they have been instructed on correct packaging guidelines! All items are shipped in plastic bags prior to packing so your item will never be damp no matter the weather. Only high standard boxes are used so your item does not get crushed in the delivery process and we always include a packing slip (another thing I never get when I purchase).
I understand not everyone cares about the condition of the box and only wants to finish a series or add an ornament to his or her tree but if you are an avid collector I suggest you purchase only from someone who exclusively sells hallmark and has an understanding of these terms. If they are selling a Hallmark Ornament look at the other items the seller has up for auction, if you find a lot of household items or used clothing it’s a safe guess there ornament is also used. Also check the feedback of that seller, do they have negative feedback, DSR ratings that are low. Check feedback of item as described and communication. Don’t just look at feedback numbers go into the site and actually look at the feedback left by others. Often people won’t give a negative feedback but will state they were disappointed or the packaging was poor. If you are dissatisfied after you receive the item contact the seller about returns and refunds, this should also be disclosed in their listing. Your final recourse after all else has failed is to file a dispute through Ebay or Paypal. When leaving feedback be clear and honest about your purchase so others are aware of how you were treated and how your purchase was handled whether that is positive or negative. Only about 50% of people who purchase on Ebay leave feedback, it’s important to leave feedback so you can share your experience with others and make them aware of a particular seller, good or bad, if those poor sellers get enough negative feedback Ebay will remove them. Also nothing is free beware of free shipping. Free shipping just means you will pay more for your item.

Hallmark keepsake ornament Pop Goes the Snowman #1 in the Jack in the Box Memories series. Hallmark had a very nice series with the Jack in the Box, a classic, nostalgic toy found in toy box’s around the world. The 7th and final in the series is the Hallmark 2009 Pop Goes the Elf; hear it play “pop goes the weasel” when you turn the crank. The entire Jack in the Box series are handcrafted and made of pressed tin and designed by artist Sharon Viskar. Very nice series I’m sorry to see it end.

2005 Hallmark Christmas Ornament The Northern Cardinal, #1 first in the Beauty of Birds collector's series. Wow who could have known how well this series was going to do!! When you purchase any of these items on line make sure you find out from the seller if they are new or used and if the box is in mint contiontion with the price still attached. They did it again with the 2006 Hallmark Black Capped Chickadee!! Will the 2007 Blue Jay be as valuable? I think the 2008 Hallmark Goldfinch is well on the way itself. At the end of the Christmas season last year they were nowhere to be found. 2009 Hallmark The Woodpecker is also a stunning ornament. Hats off to artist Edythe Kegrize and LaDele Votruba for an outstanding Hallmark Series!!

Hallmark Gold Crown Exclusive Father Christmas series is another very popular ornament introduced in 2004. This series was a sleeper until the 2006 ornament arrived!! It’s rich blue robe and silver sparkles caught everyone’s attention. Inspired by classic images of Santa. This ornament was so popular in such a short time they already have 2 colorways, one in 2007 and one coming out in 2009. All ornaments are handcrafted and fabric designed by Joanna Eschrich.

2004 #1 first in the Hallmark Father Christmas series was adorned with a beautiful winter white fur robe holding a staff in one hand and a dove in his other. The scroll on his back carries a message of peace. The scroll on his backpack carries a message of joy and harmony, bringing a message of peace. Stands 5 ½” tall.

2005 #2 second Father Christmas ornament stands 5 ½’ tall carrying a violin, trumpet, and horn. The scroll in backpack carries a message of joy and harmony. Santa wears a rich burgundy velveteen robe.

2006 #3 third in series of Father Christmas is adorned in a shimmering blue and silver robe holding a staff that has a glittering snowflake in one hand and gifts in his other hand. 2008 #5 fifth in Father Christmas Series is in a bright red robe carrying harness for his reindeer and a backpack full of toys. Sentiment on scroll reads: The joy of Christmas is in remembering… Stands 5 1/2" tall.

2009 #6 sixth in Father Christmas series breaks out in a multicolored cloak and a dark green robe with a Christmas tree on his back and mistletoe on his head. Holding a lantern in one hand and the scroll in the other. Sentiment on scroll reads: Where Christmas lives, love endures…. Stands 5 1/4"

Hallmark Bluster B. Tobogann in the Snowtop Lodge Series Ornaments

The Snowtop Lodge Series Ornaments by Hallmark began in 2005 with the introduction of Skylar Woolscarf the first in the series, as usual with a new series dealers ordered to many and the ornament was not very popular. In 2006 Hallmark came out with Bluster B. Toboggan, another rare and very collectable ornament in the series; 2007 Colleen Evergreen also was not very popular. In 2008 Louie D. Lightly the 4th in the Snowtop Lodge series. Bluster did so well that everyone thought the series was going to be very popular but once again has been a disappointment. In 2009 the 5th in the series is Zak E. Zamboni, since he has a pair of ice skates and a cup of coffee in his hand I believe he will be a more popular this year. All ornaments stand about 3 ½ inches tall and are made of porcelain.
